Hi Dan,
both WSJT-X and MAP65 load their dependent DLLs from the same directory

Hi Bill and all,
Two people have reported a problem starting the alpha release of MAP65:

Code revision r7547 protects against possible forwarding of invalid
frequencies to the decoder.

I apologize for not making it clear that my reports from "last night"
were using the MAP65 Windows Installer version. I did not know that the
new version was also on the svn.
Posts to this list today make it clear that the new version is also
available as source code, so I have installed and

Hi Joe,
v2.7 r7545 installs and launches properly the first time.
I looked at the MAP65 build script, and it could use a fair bit of
updating. I'll try to get to that this weekend.

Turns out this happens if you don't already have a file 'wsjt.log' in
the execution directory. As mentioned before, the message is harmless.
I will

This message is harmless. (I see it too, and have not yet traced down
what it's complaining about; but it's a one-time message and the program

Hi Joe,
the first issue I see is that the platforms/qwindows.dll plugin appears
to be for Qt 5.5 but the main Qt DLLs are

Hi Joe,
the way this works is that a Qt development tools install patches the
path, to the plugin libraries
Hi Joe, All,
I don't know what the root cause is at this point, but, check to see of
the correct qwindows.dll is being copied into the platforms directory
when building v2.7.
The v2.5 DLL is dated 2/1/2014 2:54 PM
The v2.7 DLL is dated 6/29/2015 4:57 AM
I installed, then ran v2.7, it failed.

Hi all,
Many thanks to all those who volunteered to help with early testing of
MAP65 Version 2.7, which includes support for QRA64. In fact I had many
more responses than expected, so I am replying here instead of sending
individual responses.
