Out of curiosity, are you using the regular VGA port on the card, or the
DVI-VGA adapter with the monitor plugged into the DVI port on the card?
(I'm guessing you're using a CRT monitor.) I don't know if that will
help, but I know that with XF86 4.1.0, I had to plug my monitor into the
DVI
Also, try generating a new config file with: X -configure and then
editing that one to taste.

There are some known problems with OEM cards (it appears to be your case).
The fixes for these problems haven't been merged into 4.3 release because
there is not enough time. Meanwhile you can try two thing:
1. Make sure your monitor is connected during the boot. Don't plug/unplug

says ...-glibc21. Does it mean that I should upgrade glibc before?
