hi all,
I think this is an interesting discussion and I appreciate everyone's
comments.
+1 on improving security, using SSL, not sending passwords over email etc.
I am willing to help with the server administration, so hit me up.
Even though Mailman sites have traditionally not been that secure, I
think security is very important, justifying some level of outrage at
blatantly poor security practices.
Not ready to +1 on Google Groups.
This could be an easy way to improve mailing list security and remove
the need to deal with MailMan.
However I am concerned that advertisements could be added to SeaPIG
communications... is this what would happen?
I would question whether the free service provided is worth having to
see the advertisements.
best,
Jonathan
