No, that's the wrong way IMO. The choice between Server/Workstation
class install should affect only _what_ gets installed, not how it
gets configured.
Default configuration of services could be an extra option, but that
would make it too easy for people who want to install/run a full
blown and wide open server without knowing what they're doing (not
just sendmail, but also ftp/rsh/telnet/*).
If anyone argues that the default configuration of sendmail were
non-working, keep in mind that the xinetd wrapped services are
disabled by default, too.
I mean, it is not asked too much to take a look at the default
config files of a service (e.g. sendmail.mc or redhat.mc), because
usually you would want to tweak the configuration anyway.
But one other thing should have been documented somewhere, and that
is the massive use of libwrap as of Red Hat Linux 7.1.
