Stripping down the RH config file IS going to require that you understand the whole spec file and how the patches interact, etc. etc. If you don't have time to really dig into it, you have three choices: 1. use RH's kernel with minor mods 2. use a vanila kernel with no RH stuff 3. find a guru who created just what you need (same patches, etc). I submit that the RH patches anc config file are GOOD things and 1. is the best way to a good kernel with your mods. -- Jan Carlson janc at kubwa dot com _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
