help <G>......i installed XFS on RH7.1 with SGI's nice ISO file to CD and everything went fine..but then I went to compile in sound and remove a few things..i've done these things many times before without XFS so either i've just done something dumb or its XFS..
I did make bzdisk but either i missed something or its a bug i don't know about in xfs ( yes I used kgcc for compiling NOT gcc296 which as docs say doesn't work right ) as upon reboot i get something about no stacks error I believe and kernel panic of course. i tried going in to fix with linux rescue from CD but it won't give me access to /usr/src area or much else for that matter..i'm using chown /mnt/sysimage but I must be leaving something out or using wrong commnd...I rarely get in this trouble and can't recall how to get in this way.<G> thx lee -== _______________________________________________ Seawolf-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/seawolf-list
