Speaking of Vipers, in Austin, the guys that own them, don't keep them
stock much. The Vipers all show up at the street races (about 2 or 3 of
them). One of them being a 700HP TNT Viper, one a Venom 650 GTS, and the
other one being 550HP Venom RT/10. they're all about spanking on the
domestics and the imports. The guys that own them are all older guys that
have their own buisnesses. they're a common site here in Austin though.
And oh, about repair costs, a friend of the family owns a body shop, and the
"AVERAGE COST" of repair on a wrecked Viper is around $26,000 (The hood
itself costs around $9600). And since we're on the subject, all us import
people are bragging that we're "catching" up the the domestics and things,
its just a matter of time that the domestics do what we do w/ turbos and
kick our ass at our own game....
