Compare the amount of domestics that have used the turbo setup and the
imports that have used it. Domestics don't use it much because of those
pushrods. the redline is not all that high and they can produce more power
on the motor anyway. And the GN's are NOT as common as, let say, Eclipse.
They were limited production and they're hard to find. I believe the say
that says: technology is the replacement for displacement. But the thing
is, domestics care more about their all-motor cars than the turbos. Now
that the turbos are demanding respect in 2 or 3 liter motors, they're gonna
wanna try it. And when they do, the gap is gonna open right up.
