the bolt ons afterwards, and find out later that they have a new program for
the cams that smoothes out the idle, makes the power curve smoother, and
adds a few peak hp? You would end up paying a $100 more to reprogram it
since you probably do want the most you can get out of your car. Why not do
things right the first time? Just get all the bolt ons, and get the ECU
last. Maybe they won't have a new program, maybe they will. At least you
will know that you didn't have to spend an extra 100 to reprogram it when
you could've just asked for it in the first place. That's all in my opinion
of course."
The only thing I want to add is the amount of time it taking JWT to design
the cams for the GA16. They are still at least 4 months out, and they
supposedly have been in the process for over a year. I was offering the
info. that the JWT ECU didn't need to be reprogrammed for every bolt on
modification for those who wanted another mod. but didn't want to wait for
the cams. This was a simple posting of information, very accurate
information at that. In no way should it have turned into a pissing
match/flame war. So like Jordan said lets kill this thread!
