Hey wes, terrin, (anyone else involved in this thread that I missed), I
RESPECT what you said about the lack of non-1/4 milers. As the Timeslip
Registry editor I have ONE frustration...checking my email for new additions
and getting zip-zero-zilch. I can go weeks/months without getting ANYTHING.
Every now and again I'll get an incomplete timeslip or just some bogus info
that isn't sufficient to add. I also depend on new timeslips to see what
variations of mods do what for our cars.
So where is my timeslip? It's waiting for me in Florida. I have already
spoken with fellow local list member that I'll be heading down to the track
with for a fun night of test n tune. EXCUSE = ALASKA (snow season is
here!)...is there anyone else that can say that? There is a 1/4mi track up
here...I conveniently discovered it 2 weeks before closing for the season. 3
slaps to the head for that one. They had just opened it up for imports too.
What better reason do I have to add/purchase in intake, exhaust, header, UD
pulley, short shifter, performance clutch (sitting in box still)? For fun?
Fun will be when I go and haul ass down the track in FL and come back to the
SBB/SML and brag my head off.
SUGGESTION: The next meet we have (my 1st), we're making a trip to the track
as part of our weekend. Maybe even a DYNO day...with a little group
motivation, it should be fun and more people will be willing to participate.
