The EQ is there to smooth out the frequency response of a system.
To boost the frequencies that are missing and attenuate any that your
vehicle tends to exaggerate.
If you had a system that was acoustically perfect there would be no need for
the EQ since the frequency response of the system would be linear throughout
the audio range. 20Hz-20KHz
If Mike just likes to play with his EQ knobs all the time thats fine with
me, thats just him.
I don't think thats what the EQ is really for but each to his/her listening
style.
