Instead of padding on the fender piece, I bought some stuff at Autozone for
about two bucks that works great. It's the rubber moulding/trim that people
use on the edge of their doors to prevent knicks at a parking lot. It's
made of a strip of U-shaped rubber with adhesive in the groove. You can
push it around the bare edges of the hole and it leaves a nicely trimed out
hole for your CAI. The rubber adheres so you don't have to worry about it
vibrating out or having to secure it in any way.
