that problem. Make sure the Straight end of the upper pipe is facing the 
TB. You can actually get it installed with the pipe flipped, but as you 
sated, the bend on one of the upper hose fittings would be facing the wrong 
direction. I have a B14 and I too had issues, for instance the 96 uses a 
different ITS than the 98 they designed the CAI on. SOOOO I had to modify 
my ITS after finding out that the NEWER ITS isn't compatible with my 
harness. But once installed it works perfectly. Oh and I too am worried 
about not have any type of bracket on the tubing, there are like 5 holes 
left where the stock air box was, couldn't they have utilized one of those 
holes and the factory bolt to hold it in place. But as you stated, once 
it's installed, it's worth the hassle;)
