>Hey J, are you certain that you are facing the pipe in the right direction?
It's is definitely installed the right direction. When I said the vacuum
nipple was off by 90 degrees, I meant 90 degrees on the diameter of the
pipe. Specifically, the big vacuum hose nipple should be opposite (180
degrees) the PCV nipple, instead of a quarter of the diameter from it. This
is very clearly a design issue, not me being a monkey, though I entertained
that notion briefly. ;)
If you could see a B13 intake, you would know exactly what I am talking
about.

>Oh and I too am worried
>about not have any type of bracket on the tubing, there are like 5 holes
>left where the stock air box was, couldn't they have utilized one of those
>holes and the factory bolt to hold it in place.
My CAI is surprisingly stable. Even without a battery to help wedge it in
place (mine is in the trunk), the CAI moves only maybe a half-inch front to
back and perhaps 3/4 inch up and down, and that's with me pushing on it
hard. I can't hear any rattles or noises from it when I am driving, and
there is no sign of it trying to slip loose. Those silicon couplers are
surprisingly strong, especially with the hose clamps on them. Since I also
have the Energy Suspension motor mount inserts, the CAI shouldn't move
relative to the body, so I am not concerned about it, really.

>But as you stated, once
>it's installed, it's worth the hassle;)
Yes, it most certainly is. I need to go out and beat on my car pretty
soon...
