No, another person asked this, but in the 1992 factory manual, You place the
prongs on A and B terminal. Then you read in k ohms. They say this right in
the specs for the 1.6. Closed is .5 ohms partial is .5 - 4 and open
throttle is approx. 4 ohms.
I know what you are talking about the throttle sense adjust. They say
install TPS and then leave bolts loose connect the harness and start it up
and measure output voltage. (I don't have access to the consult right now) it
should measure .45 volts to .55V. then tighten the bolts back up.
Mike, am I doing this adjustment all wrong? is the first test with
the OHM meter to test the TPS sensor itself? do you get the proper position
with the below method of using the voltage output to adjust the TPS sensor?
Maybe this is why I can't adjust the damn thing right!
