I went to a yard today and got the rear discs of the NX2000. They were
coated with alot of dirt. He had a real bitch of a time getting the control
arms off. I got the calipers, rotors, the spindle, bearings as one unit,
they just unbolted the things. He could not get the long bolt out of the
knuckle to free the control arms. He told me to try to heat the bolt up and
get it red hot, the bushing will melt and the bolt should turn. I can't use
them because they were trashed from a wreck. But the spindle and stuff is
great. I am planning to rebuild the calipers and get new rotors and such.
They gave me the E-brake cables also, they are in good shape, like new. The
shields are rusty and I am romoving them.
Can you rebuild those rear calipers and if you can, what comes with the
kit, New piston and new rubber stuff?
