For our internal compliance with the Severe Sepsis guidelines we are using triage complete. I am finding patients that don't even meet SIRS criteria or have a documented infection at that time. Has anyone else run into this issue and if so how are you handling it? This is outside of the SEP 1 definitions where I have more options to rule the patient in for severe sepsis. Thanks.
