Maybe an overstatement to call them 'huge', but huge compared to typical messages. Each message was between 3MB and 5MB. There were 11 messages of this size in the inbox.
No OutOfMemory messages I can find. And we tried it 10 times or so from the Outlook express client with failure each time. Tried it from Outlook and it worked fine. So I would expect an OOM to not differentiate between which client type was accessing it. But I could be wrong. Normally do have Norton. But I just built the computer up about a week ago, and have not yet installed Norton. And then as soon as I removed the big messages from the inbox, the others came through. Do you have sufficient memory allocated for the heap? Are there any OutOfMemoryError exceptions in phoenix.console? Also, do you have an in-stack e-mail scanner active, e.g. Norton AntiVirus? They are a common source of problems between mail clients and mail servers. --- Noel --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
