Hi..
I have just joined the list today.. I haven't seen the earlier correspondence on
this..
But probably u can try this to start tomcat..
1. from DOS prompt set the classpath to include 'servlet.jar' file and
2. type 'bin\tomcat run' from TOMCAT_HOME
If it still has some problem..
check whether u r using old java version..
check by typing 'java -version' .. if the version is less than jdk 1.3 or so u have
to see that it is 1.3 or version released after that....
