I was a little taken aback by Sun's pre-test requirement of the public
use (at Sun's discretion) all this personal information. But then,
I'd bet that most our SSN's and other personal information is already
stuck in multiple publicly-assessable databases. The last dotcom for
which I worked subscribed to a service (kind of like TRW) that brought
back just about every detail of my household and financial life
(including the names of my dogs!). But Sun had most of this
information already from repeated JavaOne registrations, anyway....
Cheers!
Mark
