Now that I have a decent puller (!) I'm sure it will be
fine. Thanks for the encouragement.

Re-shaft
Graham:
I've done dozens of Ping reshafts and have always used a good shaft
puller and never had a problem with the ball bearing. I have read many
shoptalk messages about drilling a hole in the ball bearing from the
sole of the putter but I have never once had a problem when using a good shaft
puller, the bearing comes right out with the shaft. As you are aware the ball
bearing is inserted to lock the shaft in place in the hosel but the shaft
surface is resting on the inside surface of the hosel and therfore rides right
out with the shaft or at least that has been my experiance.

I've got a B61 PING putter coming in for a
reshaft and I've never done one before. I seem to recall some problems
relating to a ball bearing in the shaft that makes them difficult to take
out. Anything else to watch out for?
Cheers
