I will take your advice on not making it too heavy. As far as the
weight split I was adding 60 grams for grip weight that they did not
mention. It is not clear if the shaft weight includes the grip weight.
If so, then your 58-42% is correct.

heavier. Let me suggest you at least audition both before making your
decision.
(2) My arithmetic does not agree with yours. I get a 58%-42% split
right down the line for all six Momentus models.
I have made my own weighted driver. Standard weight steel shaft and a
driver head weighted to 325g, for a total of about 500g (including
grip). It's PLENTY for me. It definitely improves my swing. And a
20-ball warm-up starts to get to my back; any heavier and the warm-up
would do more harm than good. But I'm 66 years old, so YMMV. In any
event, you probably should look at the variety of Momentus home page
to see what weight they recommend for each level of fitness and power.
I just don't see a 1000+ gram driver as an ideal training aid. But I'm
not crazy about Medicus' best-selling hinged club either. I got much
more training benefit out of a very flexible shaft than I ever did
from the hinge.
