Interestingly enough....I installed a SuperFly S, tipped 1" at 46" in a Wishon White 919THI 201g head...Shaft was 53g before trimming. This combo is a fairway finder. Did ok with my 47" experiments....but the 46" is almost as long and more importantly, keeps me out of the aggressive bermuda rough. Will go back to the 47" experiment when bermuda starts to go dormant and match play is over....so far 3 & 0 by staying in the FWs. I opt for Dana Upshaw's approach.....stiff butt; tipped soft tip.....Will try an SKF Rev Lite soon....Have tried UST M5s at 46.5 and 46".....ok.....the SuperFly has a more consistent feel....and performance...for me...
