The putter head David is promoting is simply a fairly standard weight putter head that he's making into a belly putter and I don't think your son would be happy with the feel/distance control with the light head (by belly putter standards). Belly putter heads should be in the 400g-425g range, long putters 450-500g.
I'd go with the Yes! Carolyne, it should be about 390g.
I'm playing a properly weighted Yes C-groove Emma and Natalie model and they're excellent.
John

My son wants to try a 42 inch belly putter and we need a head in Left Hand.
So far his best putter is a YES C-groove Callie (similar to an Anser or Newport 2) with counter-balance weight. He is looking for stainless head with no insert. He putts in an arc so needs toe hang, and no face balanced center shaft.
What is out there for a component head? Thanks for the assistance.

If we bought a YES Carolyne Yes! C-Groove Carolyne CS Belly Putter LH 42" center shafted can it be modified via machining to be heel shafted?
