IMHO, I think this option should be broken up into at least 2 (AEC and NR), but I don't know anything about the Calypso, so I don't know if it makes sense.

Exact! This is the point! We are trying to find out how to write the values in ti_calypso_dsp_mode and then do some tests with some combination of values... if you have any idea it would be appreciated.
