Which makes things more difficult than they already are. Different compilers have 
different definitions for types (e.g. in VPascal a unsigned word is actually a 
longint, in 
other compilers this might be a real word), the RTL's differ, etc. So I'd vote for 
good 
integration in one compiler.

Me too, Virtual Pascal generates fast, compact executables and has very good 
support for OS/2 <-> Win32 cross-compiling. I haven't really looked into FreePascal, 
but it still uses EMX, and OS/2 plus Windows are not their no.1 priority.
