Yes, best stick to the basics first, then expand the project to other systems and
compliers. Yuri mentioned
Project Lazarus for FreePascal. I agree that we maybe could use part of that for our
work. Would it save time
too? OK, there might be more work in getting FreePascal OS/2 API working good, I don't
know.

Since I a looking mainly for OS/2 support (with Win32 a far off second) either sounds
OK to me. I already
have Virtual Pascal, but can download a copy of FreePascal if that's the way we go.
Emx is OK, but "native
OS/2" always sounds better. Still whichever is easiest.
Oh, BTW, please understand if I say anything that seems silly - it is quite a long
time since I did any serious
programming in Pascal (and I never tried to write a complier or add-on to pascal). I
am rather rusty on it! Last
time I used it for serious work was Turbo Pascal 3 under CP/M (that is 10 years ago
now).
Hope I can be of use as a tester though! I might need talking through some things
others just know should be
easy.
