Hello Fernando,

In prior discussions regarding this proposal, it was recommended to remove any requirements relating to IPv6. What other technical reasons could you suggest to limit the prefix size that can be temporarily transferred under this policy? What size would you recommend temporary transfers be restricted to?

Overall proposals text should be in line with their main objectives, even despite what authors may have said later to please one or another in order to reach consensus.

One of the major components of the PDP is for the community to discuss proposals, and for the author to make amendments to the proposal if they agree with the recommendations the community and Secretariat have made. If the community expresses opposition to a proposal and the author chooses not to submit an updated version to address these concerns, the chance of it reaching consensus is much lower than it would have been otherwise. It's not about "pleasing" one another, it's about compromise and coming to a middle ground on which the community can reach a consensus on an effective proposal that meets all requirements.

Regards,
Christopher Hawker
