WTF? I just called Time Warner
and they told me I can't have a cable modem unless I already have cable!
Yesterday, I spoke to a guy who said I have to pay $55 a month if I don't have
cable or if I only have the "basic" package. Today, some A$$
told me I can't get RR if I don't have at least basic cable, which would come
out to around $70 a month! WTF? Does this sound right? This
jackA$$ told me that they have to create some piece of shit blocker so that
people without basic cable can't get cable if they have the RR service.
Does anyone else know anything about this? Does anyone else have the RR
service w/o basic cable? If so, try hooking up your TV to your cable
outlet. You'll get 20 channels for free. :)
