A couple people already mentioned Metropolis, which is indeed where I am at.
They contract Waller Creek Communications to provide the service (as well as
the phone if you wish), and I guess since they just built the place, someone
apparently realized it might be worthwhile wiring the place up with ethernet
along with all the usuals. No big catches - the obvious stuff such as no
commercial usage or high bandwidth server stuff (IE - no Quake servers) and
that's about it. The only catch has been we lose all connect for about 1
minute very frequently, which is more than mildly annoying. I should hope
it'll be fixed half a year from now, but they seem throughly clueless about
what could be causing it. To this point supposedly replaced all equipment 3
times as well as running a new T1 out here and the problem continues.
Anyway, supposing it gets fixed, it's a nice option.

I talked with one of the Waller Creek people, and supposedly they also have
a similar set-up with a complex on West Campus, but I didn't catch the name.
I think there might be another place up Northwest that also has ethernet,
however it wasn't clear to me whether the apartments actually had hook-ups,
or if they just had some sort of "computer center" which had access to a
high speed connect. I didn't look into that place much as I think 1 BRs
started at $700/mo or so.
