Have been warned about the one called Air Deccan by many people...
With the exception of the newly launched IndiGO and GO air, I have
flown on every other carrier multiple times and I find myself when I
have a choice choosing between Jet and King Fisher. While Jet has more
flights and street credibility, I think KingFisher is shaping up very
nicely - better planes and equally good service.
As far as individual experiences go, the airline doesn't seem to
matter that much. I've had excellent flights on Air Deccan and rather
bad ones on Jet.
If I am price conscious about a trip I usually choose the cheapest on
cleartrip.com - they don't seem to have an extra fee for booking.
OTOH, Air Deccan likes to experiment with its website rather often,
and breaks the cost comparison websites.
