It's about 50 W for 8 h of sunshine, if we assume a 360 Wh NiMH
battery. Prices for the panels have been falling dramatically,
and for places off the grid have achieved cross-over decades ago.
When not in use, that would be great for LED lighting, or operating
consumer digital electronics.
