There may be something in this. However, Bangalore is ever on the
lookout for new outsourcing opportunities. For example, it looks like
Al Qaida figured out that there would be better RoI if they outsourced
the Glasgow terrorist attack to Bangalore -- with predictably bad
results. ;-)

anyway, it's true that IT is far bigger in china than india, if you
include manufacturing and the domestic software industry (i.e., not
outsourcing).
