I use my bank's online banking and bill pay service to *push* payments. I do not allow any pull payments. Coming to think of it, coming your pay bills with credit cards and pushing payments to the credit cards will be a safe bet for me and will also ensure that I have more credit card rewards points. :-) Of course, this comes at the cost of my credit card company aggregating my consumption behavior. If you guys think Google's data gathering is scary, you should loom into the sort of data your credit card companies are accumulating about you.
