I do buy packaged curd from Vijaya Dairy, the Government backed co-operative local to AP. The curd tastes *much* better, and it's fresh, i.e. a day or two old at the most at stores. Plus, we've had a 100% success rate so far with using it to start a culture, YMMV of course. My advice, try to find a similar local brand in your neighborhood. Cheeni
