You mean Coimbatore and Palghat - and yes, even I can tell Zuerideutsch apart from Hoch Deutsch from Appenzeller from Berner... It's fascinating how DE-CH varies from valley to valley, almost like India. BTW, how many on this list can speak with any authority on the Indian languages of the north east?
