Perhaps why there was a transaction for some 40k on my credit card without
my knowledge. Citibank however figured out the transaction was fraud even
before I knew about it and gave me a call. Also, thankfully I hadn't
travelled to Delhi during that time.

Just a thought - you could perform the max number of online transactions
allowed with just the card number, CVV, and your DOB (Citibank allows this
for a max of 3 transactions). This will ensure that somebody who has seen
your card and figures out your DOB can't use it.
