I had a very nice Yemeni version of biryani last month, called Mandi [1]
at a place which is apparently well known for this dish [2].

This recipe [3] sounds fairly close to the version I tried, though the
garnishings were the best bit. youtube has a bunch of recipes too if
you'd like to hunt some down for experimentation.
