Make sure when you are 'distilling' your CS that you use only clean glass
containers, and not metal containers.
When I first read your post I saw 'distilling' and thought of the inside
of my water distiller... lots of crud for silver ions to react with.
I don't think distilling is the correct word for what you are thinking of.
