If the electrodes get too close to the jar you'll get a mirrorlike silver deposit in the area. I'm not sure there's any other problem with it. If you're going to get the same concentration as I do, using my exact recipe, you'll also have to reproduce my electrode geometry, in terms of wetted length, spacing, wire diameter, etc. Lots of setups produce perfectly serviceable CS.
