They cause me near zero problems, at most 1 second each, more likely 1/2 to ..75 seconds when my local filters miss something new. More than two with the same subject or any matching words, I make a filter To trash them. What causes me more trouble than anything is the spammers trying to put a Message thru to my mailing list.
