They are easy and quick, after you have made a few, or a few hundred.
Someone familiar with your software must tell you.
If you have a help, read the part of filters.
Or do a google search and you may find a discussion on the subject.
If you were using the same software I use, I could tell you, step by step,
and capture screen images of the same.
Learning to do this is an important part of mail management and it can also
be used to place most spam in Junk, Trash, or areas of your choice. Or
you can set them to delete messages.
Another use that most overlook or seldom attempt, is that of forwarding
specific mail to specific people.
For example, if you were on a list I was not on, and from time to time
specific subjects show up, you could set up a filter to select all these
and automatically forward them to me.
Once someone could not get mail from a specific list.
I set up my program to send them all to him. Nice, simple, and no trouble
for me.
