Gee, I read the series and enjoyed the movie, too. A movie can never capture all the ins and outs of a complicated book series, but I thought it was pretty good.
The only resemblance the movie bore to the book was the first 5 seconds - after that, there was none... absolutely none. If you read the book, you know that.
