The Joke of the DAY. The genius pharmacists told me the same
thing. I told him some facts and he said ..........
"You are not supposed to use potassium for blood pressure control"
______________________
And the reason why we aren't supposed to take it is that it works, and
they know it. The will never tell us what will help us stay out of
hospitals and away from doctors and pharmaceutical drugs. Just the
opposite, they will dissuade, and frighten us and discredit whoever
and whatever they need to at every turn so that we will need them and
pay them. Pharmaceutical blood pressure lowering drugs probably
contain potassium, but at a markup of maybe 2000% or more.
By the way, I don't usually take 1000 mg. at any one time anymore, and
neither does my husband, but I used to, often, and I'm still here to
tell you that. I just had to make sure that I was by a bathroom when
taking that much at one time. But, I'm not recommending anybody do
this, and I'm not recommending anyone do 'anything' that they fear or
are uncomfortable with. I'm just sharing what we have done and what
has worked for us. Taking 200, 300 or 500 mg. at one time, and dosing
more often per day sounds like a good plan to me. The most my husband
and I take at any one time now is 700 to 800 mg., which is the amount
of potassium contained in a couple of bananas or potatoes, and that is
working out perfectly for us [she says, as she downs her second set of
seven 99mg. potassium gluconate caplets for the day!] Peace. Jodi
