<html><div>From Ruth Strackbein</div></html>Hi, Because I may need to resort to surgery in order to get relief from day today struggles with my digestive tract which are greatlyinfluenced by the nature of my colon, probably things I was born with, I am preparing to seek the services of a surgeon. However, I had a preliminary appointment with him yesterday at which he recommended a different approach with medications than I have been using. I am to try this for a month, along with my Ondamed preparations. Then we will see how things are going and decide on further steps. He doesn't want to slice me up any more than I want to be sliced up unless we have tried different approaches to my problems. If nothing works, I plan to opt for the surgery . The other surgeon was against it because of my age. But my daughter reminded this man that I have been troubled with this condition for many years and it is getting much worse to deal with. I could live as long as ten years more or so, Lord-willing. If I can be relatively free of my colon problems, that would indeed be a blessing. I am fully aware that there may be other problems. You will note that I am also pursuing natural means of treatment as well. Thanks for your concern. Ruth

If you go to a medical doctor you get meds; surgeon you get surgery and so forth. Think she might have had a point. If you go to a natural doctor he is going to try and fix what is wrong not symptoms. Both and all have their place and time. I just no longer give them the power to make the decision for me since I am going to be the one to live with any consequences.
