I ended my IBS by identifying wheat and cooked (but not raw) tomatoes as problems. There may be other foods as well but these are the ones I know. Keeping a record and eliminating foods or starting with a very limited number and subtracting or adding one at a time might help. I know a couple of people wrote books about overcoming colon cancer with a raw food diet. Eating raw food exclusively might really help. Here is a site that would have lots of info-

I don't know what kind of trouble you are having but back in 2000 I couldn't even leave the house due to IBS.  That was when my friend started pointing me in the natural direction.  She supplied me with Kefir and Kombucha (both fermented natural  products) that helped digestion and started eliminating foods to see what I might be having problems.  Found my body wasn't digesting wheat or eggs.  Both sent me running.  Problems might arise when I eat out no matter how careful.  I continue to add a digest aid when I eat and thankfully am able to lead a normal life again.
