You don't have to have citrus fruits to have vit C Ruth.  It is in all sorts
of things like sprouts and cabbage, but you would probably have a problem
with these too.  What about a whole food supplement like Higher Nature do a
Truefood version.  This is the one I get because my husband can't take
capsules and has a bit of a 'dodgy' system too. Dee

Hi, Faith, I have long wished I could take more Vitamin C, especially since I 
have trouble with citrus fruits. It and they, make the sore place under my 
right center ribcage burn like fire. I should really look for some buffered C 
of a natural sort like acerola berries, etc. My chiropractor has me working on 
using mainly diet to strengthen my immune system. Have started eating cantalope 
for Vitamin C,
