It is probably mold. In new zealand, they were able to stop a sids
epidemic, they found it was a mattress problem, specifically a mold
growing in it.
Astham can be caused by a fungi- coccydiomycosis (sp?) Valley Fever,
here in the west, babies too. I am not sure about the eczema, but it
does seem to be allergy related, and much of that is fungally driven.
The mold seems to do something to the immune system.
Drs do not seem to be looking at it as a possible cause.
