Faith, deep breathing will expand your arteries, especially if you breathe
out a little slower than you breathe in. Sit quietly, breathe in as deeply
as you comfortably can, breathe out. As you do this it expands the blood
vessels and lowers your BP. I demonstrated it to DH. In 5 minutes his BP
went down 10 points on both top and bottom. If you do this several times a
day it will permanently lower BP. You can do it sitting at your computer, or
wherever you are.
It is also a good way to prevent pneumonia in the hospital. It will ease
pain and has many other benefits.
