I've had asthma for several years, I'm on advair and another 'rescue inhaler'' I was wondering if anyone on the list has had any experience with using CS for asthma? Also using a mist inhaler for inhaling CS? Thanks for answering, I'm very new to CS and have only been using it for a couple months. Thanks, Kathy

Not in a human. I have an asthmatic cat.
Her vet told me cats with asthma "usually" get to where their attacks become closer and closer together, and worsen in intensity and damage, too. I had put the cats on distilled water with some CS added after she had a bad urinary tract infection. Several years ago.

Her history is:
2005 1st attack very severe (life threatening)(went to more CS in their water)
2007 second attack caught earlier (march)
2008 third attack (april)
2008 4th attack (july)
[2008 also july, apparent attack of pancreatitis]

After those July 2008 attacks, I put the cats on straight CS (homemade approx 10-15 ppm) as their only drinking water.

It is now Dec and her expected asthma attacks have not happened. Nor has the pancreatitis recurred, nor has the much earlier UTI.

CS is definitely is helping a lot, with what sure looks like much increased benefit from straight CS as the drinking water. I've always suspected there is some pathogen/immune involvelement in asthma, so maybe simple reduction in pathogen load is the key for my cat.

You may not want to drink straight CS as your only drinking water, LOL, but nebulizing, especially if you add some DMSO, is a very good idea in my opinion.
